Well Freek, it's just you and me so far. Even with an outstanding topic starter, we ain't got no participation. Classmates must have gone all bashful or sumpin.

I'm not so sure they are bashfull as much as taking time to break away from their sex forums. Maybe they are on Myspace or your space or whatever that site is. Maybe they have kids that take all the time on the computer at home so they can never get on it like at my house. could it be possible that "Furburger" just didn't move them? As a motivational speaker what topic would you suggest to get more participation in the forum discussion? I also was wondering where our speach teacher Miss Gilday(?) is now.

Miss Gilday...She might be a worthy topic. Wonder if she has aged as well as us? I occasionally think about Miss Law and Mrs. (I think) Schrad too. Does anyone know the whereabouts of these teachers and/or have any recent pictures of them?

If that isn't a topic starter, then how about our classmates telling us how close their present situations match their dreams and expectations at the time of graduation?

I remember thinking that in 30 years, if I made it that long, I'd be really old. My dream was to race motorcycles professionally, but an unfortunate series of events, broken leg and such, derailed that plan. Then I didn't really have a plan. So, instead of driving my van around the country and racin' motorcycles, I parked it. And I've been LIVING IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER ever since.

Jeff said you were in Denver last week... I tried your cell phone.
Doesn't sound like your making a trip to the mountains this year or I would have joined. I'm still riding a sport bike, 08 hayabusa.

Wasn't Miss Schrad the reason we took bachelor living? I miss seeing her return from lunch on a cold winter day :-)

Right on Richard!!!

Yeah man, sorry I missed you! Got out there Monday evening for a meeting on Tues. Rode around for a while on Weds and then headed home. I had planned on riding another day, but it wasn't as much fun riding by myself.

Stay in touch so we can hook up next time.

My memory of Ms. Gilday is when she caught me giving Jeff an answer for a test in class and Jeff didn't get in trouble like I did.

Man if you were giving me a test answer I sure hope it was a right one! Were you just a trouble maker in school or what? I never got in trouble for doing anything. I must have been too good a kid.

I remember Ms. Gildea making speach class fun though. Nothing like my College speach instructor.

With the contact information on this website from our reunion Tony and I were able to get in contact with Bill Egr and Lori Vavricek in Dallas to meet them for diner when we were there for a meeting at the end of September. It was great to see them again and meet Lori's husband Mark. We had a good meal and some great conversation. Bill thanks for picking us up at the Hotel so we didn't have to try to find the restraunt ourselves.

OK read this in your Jerry Seinfeld voice.

Why is it that many speeches, announcements, and the like start with, "I'd like to thank..."? It's a habit - I do it myself - but it makes no sense. "I'd like to" or "I want to..." But what? Can't? Don't feel like it? They don't deserve it? So if I say, "I would like to thank everyone for being here." and then I don't say, "Thanks for being here." I've only told the audience that I'm considering thanking them, but I haven't really done it.

Does anyone care? Does the audience feel like they haven't been thanked? Of course not. It's just an observation that this nerd finds interesting.

I would like to wish Jeff a most happy forty-frickin'-ninth birthday.

But his birthday isn't until Monday.
